Files selected for a supported conversion are processed locally in your web browser. The converter does not upload selected images, documents, PDFs, filenames, or generated outputs to a conversion server.

Converted files are created in your browser and offered as downloads. We do not have access to the contents of files selected for conversion.

2. Website and technical information

The website delivers pages and supporting assets through its hosting and security infrastructure. That infrastructure may process limited technical request information, such as an IP address, browser details, requested pages, and the date and time of a request, to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

That technical information does not include the contents of files selected for conversion.

3. Browser storage

The available converters do not require an account or login. Local File Converter does not use browser storage to keep copies of files selected for conversion.

4. Feedback submissions

If you use the feedback form, we store the details you provide, including an optional name, email address, message, optional attachment, to receive and respond to your feedback.

5. Security and changes

Local processing reduces the need to transmit selected files, but no device, browser, extension, or internet connection can be guaranteed completely secure. For sensitive files, use a device and browser environment you trust.
